I was born in 1974 and have been writing
since I was 14. I was born and raised in the
Northwest Arkansas area but quickly moved
to New Orleans, LA after high-school to
attend college at Tulane University. This
educational stint only lasted a semester, as I
bit off more than I could chew and took
classes I had no aptitude for.
I moved back home to Arkansas and got a
job. A year later, I decided to give college a
shot again, so I went down to Searcy, AR and
attended Harding University. This time, I
lasted almost a year. (Yes, folks, I am the
poster-child for ADD).
Once again I moved back to Northwest
Arkansas, but this time decided to try and live
out my Tom-Cruise-'Cocktail' dream. Ergo, I
became a bartender. While bartending at a
restaraunt/lounge during the day, I spent my
evenings serving watered-down drinks to
college kids at a local nightclub.
Good times, lemme tell you.
After about 5 years of sloshing drinks around,
I got hired with my current company, a major
transportation/logics company here in
Northwest Arkansas. I settled down shortly
thereafter and got married to my wonderful
wife Becky. We've been married since 2001
(woo-hoo!) and we have 3 cantankerous
children.
I spend most of my free time reading, writing,
or messing around on the computer.
And now for some fascinating facts about
myself...
